AutoBlur

The AutoBlur plugin uses Apple's Machine Learning to locate the subject of an image and create a cinematic depth of field.

Requires MacOS 12 (Monterey). Compatible with Final Cut Pro 10.6, Motion 5.6, Adobe Premiere and After Effects 2020.

Autoblur creates a cinematic depth of field effect and also allows the user to apply filters and effects separately to the subject of an image and/or the backgrounds. The subject is not tracked between frames - each frame is analyzed on its own - and everything recognized as the subject by Apple's Machine Learning is separated from the background. The user can choose between performing an adjustable lens blur effect to the background, or to separate the subject from the background.
